Job Description:

Electra is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and functionality of our hangar and office facilities. This role is critical to ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for our engineering, operations, and flight test teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in maintaining a world-class workspace that supports Electra's cutting-edge mission.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Perform daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of floors, walls, windows, etc. Of two hangar facilities.
• Provide continuous monitoring of hangars for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and immediate removal.
• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across hangar and office facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Maintain and repair hangar equipment, tools, and support systems to ensure readiness for daily operations.
• Support facility setup and configuration for ongoing aircraft development, testing, and office needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects.
• Upon appropriate training, ensure compliance with all facility safety standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
• Provide general support for facility-related projects and improvements as directed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Work under minimal supervision and take ownership of facility performance and appearance.
• Assist with package delivery receiving and distribution.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or current enrollment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to maintenance activities.
• US Person status (U.S. citizen or permanent resident) required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience maintaining hangar facilities or similar industrial environments.
• OSHA safety certification or equivalent training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment.
• FAA safety awareness or airport operations familiarity a plus.

Location:Corporate headquarters in Manassas, VA. This position requires an onsite presence to support daily facility operations.

Travel:Occasional travel may be required (<10%) for vendor coordination or facility support activities.

Salary:Electra's hourly rate for this position starts at: $20.00 Our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum range for the Company level overall across all locations & projects and do not necessarily reflect the budgeted amount for this position. Individual pay is based on additional factors, including project budgets, job-related skills, experience, relevant education and/or training, role, level, location, and project.
